Service Description

On our scale of 0-5 our Lactic peel is a 0- meaning the lightest. This is a very light and superficial peel with little to no visible flaking. A very comfortable treatment great for lines, hyperpigmentation, melasma, and dull skin texture. This is great for all skin types and also extra great for those with dry skin. Although you may not see visible flaking with the naked eye, this peel is still removing dead, dull and discolored skin by dissolving the bonds that hold the dead skin to your face and is the perfect option if you do not want to deal with noticeable flaking. Even the strongest peels are not a "one and done" treatment- which is why we recommend them in a series of 6-8. Lactic peels can be done 1-2 times a week depending on your skin's natural sensitivity level. We recommend scheduling your series for 6-8 weeks in a row, then using professional products at home while breaking from your series- and starting one back up again when you feel your skin could use a refresh! It is always highly recommended to pre and post treat your skin with any chemical peel. ESPECIALLY if you struggle with dark spots.
